Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being selected by the Wings as the fifth-overall pick for the 2019 WNBA. Ogunbowale managed to take home gold in 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships in addition to the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships. On July 7 2014 she was selected to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first collegiate campaign.
