Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill as she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for her performance on the night. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her loss was a unanimous one.
